He loves nature and the work that goes into being in tune with the elements; He likes to find locations and then try to go back and shoot them in unique conditions. He is a self taught artist and chose to live minimally and surround himself in extremes of nature for the last 10+ years. He always tries to do his best to capture these moments and to do mother nature justice with his camera, hopefully in a way that others are able to enjoy. With his artwork, he hopes to encourage others to appreciate nature’s strength and beauty and inspire others to live a less materialistic lifestyle. He is thankful for the support he has received for his art, which has caused him to be able to continue putting himself in these places.

Shayne has worked with his camera for more than 20 years. You may have seen his work featured by National Geographic or in art galleries along the coast of California. Shayne is known for his minimal/extreme art style that captures extremes of nature in minimal ways.
